She was more like a beauty queen From a movie screen

People always told me,
‘Be careful of what you do
And don’t go around
Breaking young girls’ hearts’
And mother always told me,
‘Be careful of who you love
be careful what you do
‘before the lie becomes the truth’

Can sympathize with this point of view, it seems news pages are just covered in ads and stuff these days.

Apartment Therapy Unplugged | Sun Jar: The Perfect Way to Light Your Garden
These would be awesome - shame they are $45 a piece!
Ooooh update can be bought in the UK at just £20 each!

I will participate in the demonstrations tomorrow. Maybe they will turn violent. Maybe I will be one of the people who is going to get killed. I’m listening to all my favorite music. I even want to dance to a few songs. I always wanted to have very narrow eyebrows. Yes, maybe I will go to the salon before I go tomorrow! There are a few great movie scenes that I also have to see. I should drop by the library, too. It’s worth to read the poems of Forough and Shamloo again. All family pictures have to be reviewed, too. I have to call my friends as well to say goodbye. All I have are two bookshelves which I told my family who should receive them. I’m two units away from getting my bachelors degree but who cares about that. My mind is very chaotic. I wrote these random sentences for the next generation so they know we were not just emotional and under peer pressure. So they know that we did everything we could to create a better future for them. So they know that our ancestors surrendered to Arabs and Mongols but did not surrender to despotism. This note is dedicated to tomorrow’s children…

Temper Trap’s Sweet Disposition (GREAT song!). …And how I want to enter the cosmos when I die. :) (via @epicfu)

Heard this song some months back on a trailer for the film 500 days of summer.  Still keeping an eye out for it’s release on itunes to pick it up.  Great track.

Library for iPhone (via jessieshmessie)

Got this app today, really a great addition and extension to Delicious Library for Mac OS X.  The video demonstration is a bit unusual, but does a good job of explaining the functions and how it works.

The Beatles: Rock Band opening cinematic (via bauldoff):

In awe of The Beatles: Rock Band opening cinematic by the consistently out-of-this-world Passion Pictures.

Here it is on YouTube (for now).

I, for one, can not wait to play Come Together.

Wow, really nice opening sequence.

DoGood, by mobil33t (via benjaminf)

Awesome idea, free app, and nice design.

Ideas like this often seem to have a lot of detractors. It’s common to hear people say something like, “Why not donate the money that iPhone cost you to a charity?” And it is true—an iPhone is a luxury, not a need. But as a developer, you understand that people are going to own these items anyways. Why not encourage them to do good things?

And if you can get masses of people all doing the same good thing at the same time, it can be powerful and bring positive change. I hope this is a success.

What a great idea
